§ 1
Eesti võib kuuluda Euroopa Liitu, lähtudes Eesti Vabariigi põhiseaduse aluspõhimõtetest.
§ 1
Estonia may belong to the European Union, proceeding from the fundamental principles of the Constitution of the Republic of Estonia.
§ 2
Eesti kuulumisel Euroopa Liitu kohaldatakse Eesti Vabariigi põhiseadust, arvestades liitumislepingust tulenevaid õigusi ja kohustusi.
§ 2
Upon Estonia’s membership in the European Union, the Constitution of the Republic of Estonia shall be applied taking into account the rights and obligations arising from the treaty of accession.
§ 3
Käesolevat seadust saab muuta ainult rahvahääletusega.
§ 3
This Act can be amended only by a referendum.
§ 4
Käesolev seadus jõustub kolm kuud pärast väljakuulutamist.
§ 4
This Act shall enter into force three months after the date of its promulgation.
